Time flies when you're having fun!
It's hard to believe that Youbee Media is now 6 months old. Although 6 months is only half a year, and may seem like a small achievement to some, this feels like quite a milestone for a new business. Especially when you consider how much has happened in the last few months!
Rebecca Hopwood formed the Leeds based Marketing consultancy, Youbee Media during a pandemic and whilst the UK was in lockdown. After completing a degree in Media & Marketing, Rebecca spent many years in small businesses, helping them to grow, creating processes, reaching new customers and communicating what they do. With frustrations of lockdown all around, an idea formed where Youbee Media could solve a problem for many businesses. The solution was simple - bring all of your communications, projects and objectives to one place. Have the benefit of a Marketing manager who understands your brand, but outside of your business - to complement what you do.
What exactly do you 'do'?
Most marketing activities can be achieved with Youbee Media, whether it's traditional or digital marketing you're looking for. In the last 6 months Youbee Media have engaged with other businesses to help them with the following:
- Bring their website vision to life, with their branding, style and copy
- Created blogs and shared their story
- Promoted events and news about the business and their partners
- Launched new products on social media and online channels
- Arranged photography and design for adverts in magazines or website assets
- Engaged in PR activities
- Created business cards, leaflets, proposals and brochures to help businesses communicate with their audience
- Set up and managed social media and Google ads
- Held marketing planning meeting to lay out our objectives and the route ahead.
- Delivered marketing workshops to help businesses build skills and understanding of their own marketing strategies

The future of Youbee Media
The business has no plans to stop growing! With our first team member on board, Youbee Media will strengthen it's proposition and be able to offer more support to more businesses. With further recruitment on the cards in 2021, we see no signs of slowing down.
