Last month marked four years since Olivia joined Youbee! Starting her journey with us as an apprentice, she has grown into our Senior Content Manager and become such an important part of the team. Over the years, she’s brought creativity, fresh ideas and a brilliant eye for detail to everything she does, from content and strategy to design. It’s been amazing to watch her grow and develop over the past four years, and we’re so proud of everything she has achieved.
On the 1st August, we celebrated Yorkshire Day in true Youbee style! As well as creating plenty of Yorkshire Day content for our clients, we had our own celebrations in The Hive, including a game of ‘Ring That Bell’ where we tested our knowledge of Yorkshire places, people and things. Of course, no Yorkshire Day would be complete without a proper brew, so there was plenty of Yorkshire Tea too. We’re proud to be Yorkshire, and we love bringing that Yorkshire grit and authenticity into everything we do.
It was another proud moment for the team last month as our growing events portfolio was featured in the Yorkshire Evening Post. We’ve loved working alongside events such as Climb UK, Pride In Diversity Awards, The All Out Together Ball and The YorkshireBusinesswoman Awards and supporting their teams behind the scenes to bring their events to life. From strategy and content to social media and event support, it’s brilliant to see the work we’re doing recognised. And if you’re looking for a marketing partner for your event… look no further👀
We added another course to The Hive Academy last month with our latest Bite-Sized session, ‘TikTok Changed the Rules: The New Playbook for Business Growth’. The 30-minute session looks at how TikTok is changing, from search and discovery to audience behaviour and the types of content businesses should be creating. It’s a practical next step for anyone who has completed our TikTok for Business course, or a great way for new members to get started before diving into the full course.
There was a big celebration in The Hive last month as our Junior Marketer, Caera, received her T Level results and achieved a fantastic Merit! Caera originally joined us on a short work placement as part of her Business Management T Level, and we knew pretty quickly that we didn’t want to let her go. Almost a year later, we’ve watched her confidence, creativity and skills grow while balancing work and her studies. With university now on the horizon, we couldn’t be prouder of her and everything she has achieved.
Last month, Becky wrapped up her four-week Social Media Summer School at BIPC Leeds, with the class officially graduating! Over the four weeks, the group explored everything from Meta and short-form video to community building, influencers and analytics, building their confidence along the way. It was brilliant to see the group form such a lovely bond and support one another throughout the programme. Becky loved sharing her knowledge with this group of aspiring business owners and seeing their ideas develop each week.
