At Youbee Media marketing consultancy, we’re all about creating a joyful workplace for a team that feel supported. Whether it’s through organising social outings or simply encouraging a coffee break (or three), we’re dedicated to helping our Hive feel fantastic and both at, and away from their desks.
And here’s a delightful titbit: happiness, sleep, the gut, and hormones all go hand in hand. As women, we know our hormones are like a rollercoaster throughout life, from the time we reach puberty. Hormones don’t just affect our body; they also affect our mind! The good news? We can learn some handy tips to keep our hormones in check, which, in turn, keeps our minds in perfect harmony.
We’ve heard from many of our close friends and colleagues in our network that ‘if only they knew this before’ they would have done things differently! Midlife for women can start at age 35, but sometimes younger. Which is why awareness and education early on can put you in the best position for what’s to come. But, the best part is – it’s never actually too late to make small changes which work with your hormones, not against them.
This is why Rebecca Hopwood, Director of Youbee Media made the decision to bring two experts together and create The Enliven Project. The first event under the project, Happiness, Health & Hormones takes place on Monday 16th October.

What is The Enliven Project?
The Enliven Project is a collaboration between three experts in their field. Individually, Rachel and Sophia were already on a mission to help people feel more connected to their body, happier and feel in control of their pain, mood, energy levels and wellbeing. Rebecca brought these two experts together and asked them to collaborate on an ‘idea’ that she had for helping women know their body and gut better.
In the initial conversation, Rachel and Sophia felt so enlivened by the concept of empowering workshops – more workshop ideas started to fly around the room. Soon, The Enliven Project was born – and watch this space for further workshops.
Happiness, Health & Hormones
This event is all about empowering women to make simple changes to their daily routine so that they can lead a happier life. Managing hormones for success and satisfaction
As women in business, understanding how to take care of our hormones is not only crucial for our overall well-being, but also for our level of success and satisfaction in the workplace. By taking the necessary steps to educate ourselves about hormonal health, we can maintain a better state of physical and mental well-being, allowing us to be more resilient and focused in and out of work.
We hope that this will be just the start of these events as there are so many people who need accurate, helpful information. Our future workshops are likely to focus on men’s health, testosterone and stress, as well as workshops for all participants of all ages.
We hope to see you on the 16th of October, where together we can all embrace being a woman and the challenges that come with it, empowering and supporting one another to lead a more resilient life.
