ClimbUK is the organisation behind Climb, a two-day business festival bringing together founders, investors, entrepreneurs and business leaders to connect, learn and create new opportunities.
First launched in 2023, Climb has developed a distinctive identity within the business events landscape. Rather than a traditional conference, the festival combines business content, investment opportunities, networking, entertainment and experiences to create an environment where meaningful conversations and connections can happen.
Youbee Media's relationship with ClimbUK began in February 2026, when we became an affiliate partner for Climb26.
Our initial involvement included creating a commemorative Climb26 T-shirt, exhibiting at the festival and delivering a marketing workshop as part of the event programme. We also offered anyone purchasing a ticket through our affiliate partnership three months' access to The Hive Academy.
We launched our partnership with a dedicated photoshoot, social media campaign and press release - but within a matter of months, our involvement would become significantly bigger.
Just two months before Climb26, changes within ClimbUK's internal team created an immediate need for additional marketing resource.
With a major two-day festival approaching, there was no opportunity for a lengthy handover or onboarding period. ClimbUK needed a partner that could understand the brand quickly, pick up existing activity and start delivering immediately across multiple channels.
Having already worked with the team as an affiliate and supported the promotion of Climb26, Youbee Media was brought in as Marketing Partner.
Our objectives were to:
With only two months until Climb26, Youbee Media quickly became an extension of the ClimbUK team.
Our role went far beyond managing individual marketing channels. We worked across strategy, social media, paid advertising, PR, email, website content, design and live event marketing, while coordinating with ClimbUK's partners and external suppliers.
One of the most recognisable elements of the campaign actually began before we became Marketing Partner.
As part of our original affiliate partnership, Youbee Media's Olivia Rock created a bespoke T-shirt design intended to capture the festival atmosphere and personality of Climb26.
The design proved so popular that it developed into the visual theme for the entire two-day event.
Its distinctive illustrations were adapted across social media content, event tickets, signage, the programme and even custom trainers, creating a consistent visual thread from the digital campaign through to the physical festival.
We supported ClimbUK's presence across LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, creating and publishing content designed to build momentum in the final weeks before the event.
This included:
During the festival itself, our team provided live social media support, engaging with attendees, resharing user-generated content and helping extend the energy of the physical event to online audiences.
ClimbUK had an established database of more than 30,000 contacts, providing an important channel for communicating directly with its audience.
Youbee Media collated and coordinated content for ClimbUK's marketing email newsletters, ensuring key announcements, speakers, partners and ticket messages were communicated effectively in the run-up to the festival.
We also reviewed areas of the website and customer journey, making changes and adding content to help visitors find the information they needed and move more easily towards purchasing a ticket.
To complement the organic campaign, Youbee Media established and managed a Google Ads campaign focused on increasing visibility and driving potential attendees towards Climb26.
With a total spend of just over £500, the campaign generated 5,990 impressions and 1,038 clicks, with an average cost per click of £0.48.
Most notably, the campaign achieved a 17.34% click-through rate and generated more than 41 recorded conversions, demonstrating strong engagement from the audiences reached through paid search.
Paid activity worked alongside social media, email, PR, partner promotion and website content to create multiple routes for potential attendees to discover Climb26 during the critical final stages of the campaign.
Our PR activity focused on strengthening Climb26's position as more than simply another business event.
Youbee Media developed a targeted media list and released two press releases, generating regional, business and event-industry coverage in the build-up to the festival.
Coverage was secured across publications including Yorkshire Post, Yorkshire Evening Post, BusinessCloud, Prolific North, Standout Magazine, Yorkshire BusinessWoman and a range of regional and business titles. Your PR tracker also records additional coverage and opportunities across publications including News From the North, Growth Yorkshire, Yorkshire Press, NewsByWire and Yorkshire Business Journal.
We also invited relevant media contacts to experience Climb26 themselves, creating opportunities for journalists and publishers to generate their own stories and content from the festival.
Alongside the digital campaign, our creative team delivered the physical assets required to bring the Climb26 brand into the venue.
This included:
The result was a much more joined-up brand experience, with the same creative identity running from someone's first encounter with Climb26 online through to the materials they received and saw at the festival.

The impact of the Climb26 campaign was visible across every major marketing channel. LinkedIn page views increased by 113%, while Facebook generated 3,900 views — an increase of approximately 600%. Instagram delivered 56,300 views, alongside a 506% increase in reach and 918% increase in profile visits.
Paid activity added another route to the festival, with our Google Ads campaign generating 1,038 clicks from 5,990 impressions, a 17.34% click-through rate and an average CPC of just £0.48. More than 41 conversions were also recorded during the campaign.
PR extended Climb26's visibility beyond its owned channels, securing coverage across regional, business and specialist media, while email and partner activity helped amplify the campaign to established networks and ClimbUK's database of more than 30,000 contacts.
But the impact went beyond the numbers.
By joining the project at a critical stage, Youbee Media provided the capacity, creativity and marketing resource needed to bring multiple strands of Climb26 together — and to do it quickly. A creative concept that began life on a T-shirt became the visual identity running throughout the festival, while social media, PR, PPC, email, website content and partner marketing worked together as one joined-up campaign.
That consistency carried through to the event itself, from the 72-page programme and signage to tickets, social content and live event support, creating a much stronger connection between the campaign audiences saw online and the festival they experienced in person.
Climb26 became ClimbUK's most successful festival to date, and what began as an affiliate relationship in February developed into a full marketing partnership within a matter of months.
Following the success of Climb26, Youbee Media has been confirmed as Marketing Partner for Climb27, giving both teams the opportunity to build on the momentum created in 2026 — this time with a full campaign runway ahead of the event.
